Hillary Clinton's top strategist is gone, gone, asked to leave. 

Reason?  Hillary's relatively recent new campaign manager, Maggie Williams, called it "events of the last few days."

HillSpeak decoded: "Events of the last few days" means - Penn embarrassed Hillary concerning his dealings with the government of a foreign country, Colombia.  (New York Times story here).  Penn had a huge conflict of interest.  Saturday, the Colombian government fired Penn's firm.  And Sunday, Hillary fired him.

Gone completely?  No way.  Williams says Penn's firm will continue to do polling and advising the campaign.

Ask yourself:  Would you want a President who keeps firing staff?  What does that say about executive ability? 

Penn won't be there when the Red Phone rings, nor will he be in Pennsylvania. 

OTOH, Hillary owes him $2 million, or $5 million, depending on which news story you read.  Maybe that's why he gets to keep doing her polling.
