To The Victor Go The Spoils; Those Who Spoil, Get What?

Three names to fill Obama/Hillary supporters with dread. In the best chance Democrats may ever get to win the White House, is it possible the election could get botched?

Lieberman. Bloomberg. Nader.

If any of these three thought he had a chance, he'd race for it.

Rumors circulate that Nader will try again. I'm less worried about him - all those young and new voters won't remember the days when Ralph Nader was a really good person, before he took up his Spoiler status. Still, imagine the havoc were he to throw his hat in this year's white/black/woman/man ring.

Spoiler:
Sports. a team out of final contention that defeats a potential or favored contender and thereby thwarts its chances of winning a championship.

A candidate for office whose chances of winning are slight but who may get enough votes to prevent one of the leading candidates from winning.
(The American Heritage® Dictionary of the English Language, Fourth Edition © 2006 by Houghton Mifflin Company.)
Michael Bloomberg, rich enough to self-fund a viable campaign, said he'd consider running if he believes none of the candidates can unify America.  It's a stretch to imagine he'd list Hillary as uniter; maybe he believes Obama can do it.  He met with advisors to consider a run, then nada.  He runs, he doesn't run, he runs, he doesn't run...though he's filed beginning papers in every jurisdiction.

Next up, Joe Lieberman.  Turncoat when Democrats needed support on votes, party-switcher redux, would he become a force in the election if he could?  You bet!

Maybe he got what he deserves; please see "No Love for Lieberman".
