What gets me about the $150,000 for clothes the Republicans bought Sarah Palin is, it's just that, she's a Governor. How can she be the Governor of a State and not have professional clothes?
Even given the cost of suits and jackets and shoes and let's say a nice pin for her jacket, even two pins, how could it have cost $75,000 in a wild Nieman-Marcus spree, and how could it add up to $150,000? This begs the question of why the Republicans are paying. Do you think the Democrats paid for Barack Obama's suit?
Now you've heard about the clothes, now comes the make-up.
Who got paid the most money in Senator John McCain's presidential campaign during the first half of October?
Policy aides?
Campaign manger?
No! It was Sarah Palin's make-up artist, and her hairdresser.
What is this election coming to?
Is this what Republicans do?
Ask Cindy McCain. (

palin professional suit?
You're Right! Issues Count!
Issues do count, which is why you're right about the clothing not being important. Symbolic, perhaps, even perhaps embarrassing for McCain and the RNC. In fact, if we listened to McCain-Palin, it's not important *either* that Republicans got us where we are for the past eight years.
What Republicans did doesn't count; the economy, Iraq, global warming inaction; education being one of the lowest ranked in the world - none of this matters to McCain-Palin. It's so much more important to look forward.
I believe American voters can see what is important.
