Old Brazil Meets New Obama

Brazil's President Luis Ignacio "Lula" Da Silva's coming to Washington.  He'll meet President Obama March 14.

President Obama says he's looking forward to discussing two things with President Lula:

1.  How the two countries can strengthen cooperation on challenges both world-wide and in our hemisphere.
2.  How to be effective in actions to deal with the global financial crisis during the upcoming G-20 meeting.

They'll work on being productive at the Summit of the Americas in April, as well as other issues in the relationship between the U.S. and Brazil.

Since Obama likes music, do you think President Lulu might bring him some cool Brazilian jazz?
